Ireland rugby coach Eddie O'Sullivan has named a 40-man squad for next week's training camp in Athlone.
Ronan O'Gara (wrist), Emmet Byrne (neck) and James Topping (groin) will miss the get-together as O'Sullivan allows them time to recover ahead of Ireland's home internationals with Wales and Italy on August 16th and 30th respectively.
Keith Wood, who has not played for Ireland since last September due to a long-term shoulder injury, is named in the squad. The former Harlequins hooker did, however, travel and train - in a non-playing role - with the Irish squad on their recent Southern Hemisphere tour to Australia, Tonga and Samoa.
