Third-quarter service revenue for O2 Ireland rose by 6.8 per cent to €243 million compared with the same period last year.
In a statement, the company said it now had 1.632 million registered customers in the State, a rise of 1.8 per cent, and that 21,000 new bill phone customers joined in the three months to September 30th.
O2 Ireland said monthly average revenue per user grew to €47, a rise of 3.9 per cent on the same period last year.
CEO Paul Whelan said he was pleased with the performance in an increasingly competitive market.
