One person died and eight others were injured, some of them seriously, in a four-vehicle collision near Newry this morning.
The collision happened on a dual carriageway at Sheepbridge, one mile outside Newry, shortly after 9 a.m. today.
Emergency services are at the scene and several people are being taken to hosptial.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area as there is heavy traffic congestion.
