One of the two people arrested on Thursday in Co Armagh in connection with the killing last year of the human rights lawyer, Ms Rosemary Nelson, has been released. The pair questioned by detectives are understood to be a man and a woman in their 30s.
The officer in charge of the investigation into Ms Nelson's death, the Norfolk deputy chief constable, Mr Colin Port, would not confirm whether the released person was male or female. It was alleged in a local newspaper on Saturday that the man under arrest was a member of the Royal Irish Regiment at the time of Ms Nelson's assassination.
