Nationalist residents of the Lower Ormeau Road in Belfast are to meet the Parades Commission today over the decision to allow a loyalist parade to pass through the area.
The residents have said they will stage a protest if the Parades Commission's decision - allowing a loyalist parade to pass down Belfast's Lower Ormeau Road on Easter Monday - is upheld.
Representatives of the Lower Ormeau Concerned Community (LOCC) residents' group plan to distribute thousands of posters at republican Easter rallies next weekend following the Parades Commission's decision to allow a parade by the Apprentice Boys.
The LOCC is to meet the commission today to ask it to reconsider.
The Irish Timestoday reported the LOCC spokesman Mr Gerard Rice said he was confident court action would block the parade but confirmed plans were being made to stage a rally if it failed.
