A Palestinian woman was killed by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank town of Nablus tonight, Palestinian security sources said.
Rihan al-Arda, 25, was driving in a car with her husband and mother when Israeli troops opened fire with machine-guns, killing the woman and lightly injuring the other two, they said.
It was unclear what provoked the fatal shooting, but the city was under curfew at the time.
