Party leaders to answer election questions online

In the run-up to polling day for the European elections, The Irish Times on the Web will host online question-and-answer sessions with party leaders and representatives.

Questions can now be submitted to www.ireland.com/eurotimes/ They will be answered by the politicians during online sessions next week.

These begin on Monday when the Labour leader, Mr Ruairi Quinn, goes online from 3 p.m. On Tuesday, the Fine Gael leader, Mr John Bruton, will answer readers' questions from 11 a.m.

He will be followed by Fianna Fail's director of elections for the European election, Mr Tom Kitt, who is available at 4 p.m.

On Wednesday the Sinn Fein president, Mr Gerry Adams, and the Green Party TD, Mr Trevor Sargent, will reply to questions.
