Addis Ababa - A team of African leaders headed for Eritrea yesterday after peace talks in Ethiopia aimed at ending the violent border conflict between the two former allies.
The neighbouring countries are divided on a peace plan devised by the United States and Rwanda that forms the basis of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) initiative.
The presidents of Burkina Faso, Rwanda and Zimbabwe and Djibouti's foreign minister met Ethiopian Prime Minister Mr Meles Zenawi in the capital yesterday.
