A set of proposals negotiated between SIPTU and TEAM Aer Lingus will be put to aircraft maintenance assistants (AMAs) today following the conclusion of talks between management and SIPTU yesterday.
Yesterday's talks were a continuation of the eight hours of negotiations which took place between the parties on Friday which led to increased hopes of a settlement.
The AMAs had served strike notice, due to expire on Thursday, over productivity bonus claims, the use of temporary labour and the company's failure to "upskill" workers.
