The Spice Girls returned to Britain yesterday from their 42-date, sell-out US tour to be greeted by dozens of fans at Heathrow Airport. As fans congratulated Scary Spice Melanie Brown on being pregnant, she beamed and said: "Thank you very much."
"We are really pleased to be back home again and can't wait to see our families," said Baby Spice Emma Bunton.
Victoria Adams - Posh Spice - who is also pregnant, was clad in denim, while Mel B wore a black jacket, jeans and a white baseball cap.
The girls emerged shortly after Victoria's fiance, David Beckham, who was believed to be on the same flight.
Brookside actor Mickey Starke was forced to leave his seat while watching his team, Liverpool, play at Newcastle on Sunday after he was threatened by home fans, it emerged yesterday.
Starke, who plays Sinbad in the soap, was hounded out of his Milburn Stand seat at St James' Park after only half an hour during Liverpool's convincing 4-1 victory, according to club spokesman, Graham Courtney. He had to be given a police escort as thugs swore and spat on him and even tried to assault the actor.
