A model who claims she was engaged to be married to Dodi Fayed until a picture of him kissing Britain's Princess Diana appeared in newspapers sued the millionaire playboy yesterday for breach of contract.
Kelly Fisher (31), who with her willowy figure, blonde hair and shy smile in many ways resembles Diana, broke down in tears at a news conference as her attorney Gloria Allred related how her client had been "shocked" and "shamed" by the photos.
Allred said Fisher would not talk to the press, but when asked why she was still wearing an engagement ring, Fisher sobbed "because I loved him". The prospective action is to be based on "certain financial promises".
An exhibition featuring photographs taken by the Nazi regime's foremost film director, Leni Riefenstahl (94), has attracted protest.
Staff at a law office hung a banner from a window above the gallery in Hamburg saying "Hitler's photographer is still active. In 1936 it was propaganda - In 1997 it's business."
Lawyers said their protest was aimed at highlighting Riefenstahl's role as a prominent Nazi propagandist who never distanced herself explicitly from Nazi crimes and was being assisted in marketing her work.
Supermodel Sophie Anderton (20) is to leave Britain. She shot to stardom with the Gossard bra adverts, and says the move to the US will boost her career.
