There were two attacks on houses in the North overnight.
A man was treated for smoke inhalation after his home came under petrol bomb attack in Co Derry.
The victim was asleep in a front room of his first floor flat at Glebe Avenue, Coleraine, when the petrol bomb was thrown through the kitchen window.
The man was taken to hospital after escaping from the building.
Minor damage was caused to the kitchen.
The police say they have yet to establish a motive for the attack.
In the other incident, a house in Craigavon, Co Armagh was fired upon.
Shots were fired at the rear of the house in the Ardowen area of the town shortly before 9 p.m. last night.
There were two men were in the house at the time, but they are not believed to have been injured.
