Two Catholic-owned businesses in Co Antrim were targeted in petrol bomb attacks early this morning.
Loyalists were being blamed for the attacks on a pub and shop opposite each other in the village of Cloughmills.
The pub at Culcrum Road had a window broken and a petrol bomb thrown at it, damage was restricted to outside scorching when the device failed to go through the window.
The premises are owned by a Catholic from the Republic who said he believed loyalists were responsible.
The shop opposite, owned by the same Catholic family for over 50 years, also suffered minor damage when a second petrol bomb was thrown minutes later. The family said they had never had any trouble before.
The RUC said they had not ruled out a sectarian motive for the attacks.
