London - A High Court judge has ruled that a pharmacist for Boots chemists who faces a bill of more than £500,000 after falsely accusing a senior colleague of raping her in a staff tearoom should be identified.
The pharmacist, Ms Lynn Walker (33), of Low Fell, Gateshead, Tyneside, can be named as the defendant in a defamation action after her legal rights to anonymity were lifted after a jury ordered her to pay her colleague Mr Martin Garfoot £400,000.
She was also ordered to meet the costs of both sides.
