Gaborone - Passengers dived for cover when a pilot on an apparent suicide mission crashed an Air Botswana aircraft into two stationary machines at Sir Seretse Khama Airport yesterday, witnesses said.
The pilot was killed in the incident but there were no other casualties, the Department of Civil Aviation said in a statement.
The crash wiped out three Air Botswana passenger aircraft and left it with only a small BAE146, in effect paralysing the airline, officials said.
