London - The long-running legal saga sparked by the arrest of General Augusto Pinochet resumes today with the House of Lords continuing to consider whether the former Chilean dictator has immunity from prosecution.
The latest hearing, which now looks unlikely to end before Wednesday at the earliest, was made necessary by the Law Lords' move last month to set aside their previous decision to overturn a High Court ruling that 83-year-old Gen Pinochet has immunity.
