An unexploded pipe-bomb was found near the front door of the house of a Sinn Fein member in Ballycastle, Co Antrim, yesterday. British army explosives experts were called in to deal with it.
Mr James McCarry, a Sinn Fein councillor, whose home nearby has also been attacked, blamed anti-agreement loyalists, saying that loyalist violence was filling the political vacuum caused by the stalled peace process.
