A three-man American crew and three staff passengers had a remarkable escape at Shannon airport yesterday when two of the four propellers on a cargo aircraft sheared off as it was coming into land from Dublin, Arthur Quinlan writes At least one of the propellers in the turbo-prop aircraft made a huge hole in the fuselage after it appeared that it swept off a second propeller.
