Three police officers were injured today when they were attacked by a crowd in Derry.
Officers used CS spray during the disturbances in Derry which broke out when a crowd surrounded them as they tried to arrest a man for disorderly behaviour.
A number of arrests were made, said a police spokesman.
One officer suffered facial injuries which required stitches.
The others suffered minor injuries to the neck, arm and wrist.
In Randalstown, three men were arrested during disturbances at the site of a loyalist bonfire.
At the height of the trouble, a crowd of over 150 people pelted police with bottles and stones at the bonfire in Hillsborough Park.

There were no reports of any injuries.
Meanwhile, unionist politicians were meeting Northern Ireland Secretary Mr Paul Murphy today to discuss tomorrow's annual July 12th Orange Parades.
They are concerned that some of the decisions of the Parades Commission could provoke trouble and want Mr Murphy to intervene.
Loyalists are particularly upset about the Commission decision to refuse North Belfast Orangemen permission to return home from the main parade along the Crumlin Road close to the nationalist Ardoyne area - a regular flashpoint.
There have been threats of widespread loyalist protests at the Commission ruling.
Ulster Unionist Assembly member Sir Reg Empey said Mr Murphy needed to intervene over the rulings.
He said: "Because of the nature of some of these decisions it provokes people and creates tensions and we are about avoiding those and defusing those so that we can have a peaceful Monday."
