Madrid - Police arrested seven suspected members of the Basque radical group ETA yesterday, in what the Interior Minister, Mr Mariano Rajoy, described as "a serious blow for the terrorist organisation".
Among those arrested was Mr Asier Altuna, a senior member of ETA's political arm Batasuna, formerly known as Euskal Herritarrok.
Police also seized 64 kg of the French dynamite, Tytadin, during the arrests which took place in and around the main Spanish Basque city of San Sebastian.
