Two women have been charged with robbery in Prague following the death there last month of the Callan chairman of Macra na Feirme, Mr Michael O'Leary, and may face further charges when the results of the post-mortem are known, the Minister of State, Ms Liz O'Donnell, confirmed.
In response to a question from Mrs Nora Owen, (Fine Gael Dublin North), who asked what action the Government had taken "to express its concern and annoyance" to the Czech authorities over the incident, Ms O'Donnell said the Irish Embassy in Prague would continue to monitor the situation until the matter was resolved.
