Rome - The Vatican yesterday confirmed that Pope John Paul II will visit Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian Territories from March 20th to 26th as part of a much desired Jubilee tour of the Holy Land, Paddy Agnew reports.
Despite his obvious frailty, the Pope (79) will fulfil a busy programme that includes a visit to Mount Nebo in Jordan, an open-air Mass in Amman, and services in Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Nazareth and at the Mount of Beatitudes.
