A postmortem is due to be carried out on the body of a 15-year-old girl from Belfast found in a Co Donegal flat on Saturday night.
The girl, who has not been named, was found by a teenage friend in the flat on Main Street, Ballintra, shortly before midnight.
They were among a group of six boys and girls, ranging in age from 15 to 18, who had travelled from Belfast. They had rented the flat and checked in less than a day earlier for a holiday.
The teenager who died had complained of feeling unwell and stayed behind in the apartment when the others went out for the evening. When they returned at about midnight they found her dead.
The postmortem will be carried out by the State pathologist at Letterkenny hospital.
Gardaí said foul play was not suspected.
