The results of a postmortem on the body of an elderly woman found at a farmhouse in Co Tipperary at the weekend are expected later today.
The woman's remains were found on the premises in Borrisoleigh on Saturday when gardaí forced entry to the house at about 1pm after failing to get a response at the door.
Gardaí also found the woman's elderly sister within the farmhouse, disorientated and injured. Both women lived in the house and were described as being in their late 80s.
There were no signs of violence or a break-in at the house. Gardaí are treating the death of the woman as suspicious.
