Irish recruitment services group Premier says it is to create more than 100 jobs in Dublin by the end of this year.
The new positions will be for experienced and graduate trainee recruitment consultants in each of Premier Group's operating divisions, including the accounting and financial services market, office and administrative, technical and engineering market, and the IT sector.
The recruitment group includes Premier Recruitment, La Crème, Brunel and Verkom.
"Forecasts for the recruitment industry over the next three years remain positive in Ireland and particularly in the UK where that market is growing rapidly," said Premier managing director Pat Fitzgerald.
Premier employs 330 people in its 22 offices throughout Ireland and Britain and has set itself a target of reaching €250 million turnover by the end of 2009. In 2006, it had group turnover of €85 million.
Elsewhere, it was recently announced that 200 jobs were to go at Thomson Scientific in Limerick, while Procter & Gamble yesterday said it was cutting 280 jobs at its Nenagh plant.
