The President, Mrs McAleese, yesterday visited the families of the McAloon cousins, who died in a New Year's Day ice-skating accident in Co Monaghan.
During a visit to the county, Mrs McAleese met the relatives of Louise (12) and Veronica (10) McAloon. The girls died after they fell through ice on Hollywood Lake.
