Prosecutors in Slobodan Milosevic's war crimes trial said today they want to end their case without further hearings after repeated delays due to the ex-Yugoslav president's ill health.
"Due to a specific situation, the OTP (Office of the Prosecutor) doesn't want any further delays in this trial because we are at the end of our case," prosecution spokeswoman Ms Florence Hartmann said.
Prosecutors at the Hague war crimes tribunal were due to call their last witnesses in two final days of hearings this month. But they have been repeatedly postponed due to Milosevic's ill health.
