Amnesty International is marking International Human Rights Day today with a demonstration in Dublin against the deportation of asylum-seekers. It says many of those facing deportation are at risk of being killed, tortured or imprisoned in their home country, yet they have not had the benefit of a fair hearing in Ireland.
The demonstration starts at Beresford Place at 3.30 p.m. and proceeds to the Dail where there will be a vigil until 6 p.m.
