Paris St Germain president Francis Graille has told Manchester United they will have to pay £31 million sterling for Ronaldinho.

United were understood to be close to a deal for the Brazil star, with chief executive Peter Kenyon apparently having agreed personal terms with the player.

The English champions were also believed to have made a bid of £14 million, but Graille claims he has yet to receive an offer from Old Trafford.

Graille is also claiming Real Madrid and Barcelona have both submitted offers for Ronaldinho.

"We still want him to stay. But if United arrive with an offer of €45 million, it [the transfer] can go very quickly," Graille told Le Parisiennewspaper.

United will clinch the signing of two of their transfer targets within the next 24 hours.

David Bellion is today undergoing a medical, while Eric Djemba-Djemba is expected to fly into Manchester later today and then undergo his medical tomorrow.
