Police investigating the murder of a Co Antrim man today said local people may have vital information about the killing.
Father-of-one Kenneth Nicholl died after he was stabbed numerous times in Larne.
The body of the power station worker was found lying in an alley between Herbert Avenue and Waterloo Road, close to his home in the town, last Sunday morning.
Detectives are revisiting the scene this weekend in an attempt to gather more information from witnesses.
Detective chief inspector Jonathan Roberts appealed for the public's help with the investigation.
"Kenny had been drinking in Larne town the night before he died," he said.
"It is entirely possible that members of the local community saw him walking home, or indeed may have seen or heard something in the area of Herbert Avenue between Saturday night and Sunday morning."
A 28-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident on Thursday is being questioned at the PSNI's Serious Crime Suite in Antrim.
