Police questioning a number of individauls about dissident republican activities in the Lurgan area today arrested a sixth man as part of an ongoing intelligence operation.
The latest arrest in Craigavon, Co Armagh, follows two days of searches which saw major disruption to cross-border rail travel. Detectives are continuing to question five others as part of their investigation.
Four men were arrested after being stopped in a car on the Antrim Road, Lurgan, on Thursday night. They were taken for interview at the Police Service of Northern Ireland's serious crime suite in Antrim.
A fifth man was arrested during searches yesterday. A search operation is expected to resume today on the railway line between Moira and Lurgan.
