Forensic experts were today examining a car seized by detectives investigating the murder of a teenage girl.
As officers continued to question two men held over the killing of 16-year-old Megan McAlorum near Belfast, the black Volvo was undergoing intensive checks.
The vehicle was recovered on Monday, the same day Megan's body was found close to a quarry overlooking the city. She had suffered head injuries but police have refused to reveal whether she was sexually assaulted.
The teenager had failed to return to her home in the Lenadoon Estate, west Belfast, after an Easter Sunday night out.
More than 1,000 people attended a vigil for Megan in the city last night and books of condolence have also been opened.
Detectives involved in the investigation have appealed for anyone who saw a black Volvo either on the Shaw's Road, Glenside Road or Falls Road late last Sunday night or early on Monday morning to come forward with information.
