Police in the North are investigating two shootings that took place last night.

The first incident happened in Belfast at 10 p.m. when a man (20) was attacked by a gang, forced into a concealed area and shot in one of his legs.

The "paramilitary style" attack took place behind a commercial garage off Queen Street in the north of the city.The victim's injuries are not life-threatening.

Elsewhere, police in Craigavon are investigating a shooting in the Upper Enniskeen area at 11.30 p.m. where two shots were fired into a house.
