Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused Chechen rebel leader Mr Aslan Maskhadov of being behind the explosion that killed dozens of people in the Moscow metro early today.
"We do not need any indirect confirmation. We know for certain that Maskhadov and his bandits are linked to this terrorism," Interfax news agency quoted the president as saying.
