Racial intolerance could become a problem because of the increasing number of non Irish living here, Mr Gay Mitchell, Minister for State at the Department of Foreign Affairs, said yesterday.
Racial intolerance is based on fear, according to Mr Mitchell, and politicians and church leaders in particular should play their part by explaining the responsibilities we take on in international relations as well as the rights we enjoy.
