Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu has been linked with theEuropean champions Real Madrid, it was revealed today.
The Nigerian frontman is known to be disgruntled with life at Highbury this year, since figuring less and less in Arsene Wenger's first team.Kanu's only Premiership start this season was in the one nil defeat to Charlton at the Valley.
And the previously prolific striker has only bagged three goals this season.
"I feel okay but things are not great like theywere when I first came to the team," said Kanuin an interview with the News of the World.
"And it is when you have bad feelings and arenot happy - that is when you think about whatyou must do for your future.
"My agent, Frank Seedoc, has told me a lot ofclubs are interested in me and the latest isReal Madrid.
"It is good that they are interested but rightnow I must put it out of my head because Iwant to do well where I am - and that'sArsenal."
The former Ajax striker also criticised his manager who is finding it increasingly difficult to keepfour world class strikers happy at the London club.
"Mr Wenger wantseveryone to berunners. He wants youto run, run - everytime to run'" added Kanu.
"But in most of the games it does not work. You have to play football with your head anduse your footballing skills."
Arsenal play Chelsea in the fifth round of the AXA sponsored FA Cup today and Kanu yet again, starts on the bench.
