The British Red Arrows flying team has confirmed it will headline the AirShow100 event over the June bank holiday weekend at Punchestown in Co Kildare.
The two-day show to mark the centenary of aviation in Ireland will feature aerobatic displays, wing-walkers, flight simulators, helicopter displays and historical exhibits.
Over 30 air display aircraft, including the Swiss Air force PC-7 National Aerobatic team appearing for the first time publicly in Ireland, will take part in the event. Invitations have also been extended to other European Air Force display teams.
Organiser Dave Scully said the event will transform Punchestown into an air show village with an exhibition of historic and new aircraft and entertainment on the ground for families and aviation enthusiasts.
Group and family tickets for the event on June 6th and 7th go on sale tomorrow.
