Former Dublin assistant county manager Mr George Redmond has agreed to make a sworn statement to the Flood tribunal in relation to all his bank accounts, the High Court was told yesterday.
In light of that agreement, Ms Patricia Dillon SC, for the Tribunal chairman, Mr Justice Flood, said an action in which her client was seeking an enforcement order against Mr Redmond was not going ahead.
Yesterday, the High Court was due to hear an application by the tribunal chairman for the production of Mr Redmond's bank accounts.
At the call-over of cases listed for hearing, Ms Dillon told Mr Justice Geoghegan that agreement had been reached between the parties and the matter could be put back for mention to November 18th next. She said Mr Redmond had agreed to file an affidavit by November 16th.
