Paris - Mr Trevor Rees-Jones, the British bodyguard who survived the car crash that killed Princess Diana, yesterday met a French judge investigating the case to recount recent flashbacks about the fatal drive.
The judge brought forward the planned hearing from March 16th after Mr Rees-Jones told the British newspaper the Mirror he now remembered some details of the crash.
Buckingham Palace flew the Union Jack at full mast for the first time in history yesterday, part of the royal family's attempt to modernise after the death of Princess Diana. The decision was taken at a recent meeting of the so-called way ahead group, a gathering of senior royals set up to consider reform and counter suggestions that the House of Windsor is austere, out of touch and unloved.
