The National Library will present "James Joyce and Ulysses at the National Library of Ireland", an exhibition highlighting its newest literary treasures - 19 previously unknown Joyce draft notebooks.

The 19th International James Joyce Symposium (June 12th - 19th) will see professors, students, and enthusiasts from around the world gather at the National College of Ireland to share insights into Joyce's work.

On Saturday June 13th, 10,000 Dubliners and visitors will share in the Denny Bloomsday Breakfast on O'Connell Street in commemoration of Leopold Bloom's famous morning meal in Ulysses. On Bloomsday itself the traditional Guinness Bloomsday Breakfast will take place at the James Joyce Centre on North Great George's Street.

Then on June 19th , a grand outdoor spectacular, "Elijah is Coming!" will celebrate the setting for Ulysses, the city of Dublin and her River Liffey, with light shows, water fountains and music, promising fun for all.

Other events include the Irish Museum of Modern Art hosting of "High Falutin Stuff", an exhibition of Joyce-influenced art by leading artists in IMMA's permanent collection ( April 7th - August 1st).

The Royal Hibernian Academy will host "Joyce in Art", an exhibition of Joyce-inspired art by acclaimed artists from around the globe (RHA Gallagher Gallery, June 15th - August 31st).
