A man (21) has been remanded in custody for sentencing after he pleaded guilty yesterday to the sexual assault of a woman as she returned home from bingo in Charleville, Co Cork, earlier this year.
Liam Smith, of Batt Donegan Place, Charleville, pleaded guilty when he was arraigned yesterday at Cork Circuit Criminal Court to the assault of the woman in her 60s and to two counts of threatening to kill her at Charleville on September 18th last.
