Two climbers forced to spend the night on Carrauntoohil Mountain in Co Kerry after becoming lost in poor conditions have been rescued.
A spokesman for the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team said they finally managed to make contact with the stranded climbers at first light this morning. An attempt to find them last night failed due to poor visibility.
The man and woman are reportedly unharmed but suffering from exposure.
