A report from the British Geological Survey which said there were large faults in rocks deep beneath Britain raised "serious questions" about the retention and proposed future development of the Sellafield nuclear complex, according to Fianna Fail chief whip, Mr Dermot Ahern.
"I will be calling on the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications and the Minister for the Environment to have this survey carefully studied with a view to using it as further proof in the case against the nuclear industry in Britain," Mr Ahern said.
