Manchester United's Ronny Johnsen could be out for three to four months after surgery on a knee injury, the club confirmed today.
The Norway international limped off after seven minutes of United's defeat to Deportivo Coruna in the Champions League on October 17th.
Manager Alex Ferguson originally told reporters he had suffered a hamstring injury and that he could be out for up to five weeks.
But Johnsen (32) had a knee operation in Norway on Monday.
