A dispute between the company which developed Dublin’s Grand Canal Theatre and businessman Harry Crosbie over an alleged €3 million debt has been settled at the Commercial Court.

Ramford Ltd, a company controlled by developer Joseph O’Reilly, had sued Mr Crosbie arising out of an agreement of June 29th, 2007, between them to develop the 2,000-seat theatre.

Mr Crosbie owns the lease of the theatre at Grand Canal Square, which was designed by American architect Daniel Libeskind, and which opened last March. The proceedings had opened on Tuesday before Ms Justice Mary Irvine.

However, she was told yesterday morning they had settled.
