The RUC are investigating two attempted pipe bomb attacks in County Antrim last night.
One device was thrown at a house in the Lettercreeve area of Ballymena around 8 p.m. but it bounced off a window and landed on the lawn.
The British army dealt with the bomb, which was taken away for examination.
A pipe bomb was found on the windowsill of a pub in Ahoghill. The bar and surrounding area were evacuated while the device was made safe.
