British number two Greg Rusedski has crashed out of the Masters Series in Cincinnati.
Rusedski lost 7-6 (7-2), 5-7, 6-2 to Arnaud Clement of France.
Clement will meet American Mardy Fish in the third round after he beat Belgium's Xavier Malisse 7-5, 6-7 (5-7), 6-1.
