Washington - Russian national security adviser, Mr Sergei Ivanov, said yesterday he and his US counterpart had a "frank discussion" of bilateral ties, adding both nations would co-operate to allay arms proliferation concerns.
Emerging from a White House meeting with Ms Condoleezza Rice, Mr Ivanov said they had discussed Kosovo, the US plan to deploy a national missile defence system Moscow opposes, and co-operation on economic issues and combatting terrorism.
"And we also covered the issues of non-proliferation", he said.
