Irkutsk - Hundreds of relatives of the 145 victims of Russia's worst air disaster in decades converged on the Siberian city of Irkutsk yesterday as the government led the nation in a day of mourning.
Distraught relatives from Vladivostok on Russia's Pacific coast and from Moscow - and a few from China - arrived preparing themselves for the grim task of identifying the bodies pulled from the wreckage of the doomed airliner the day before. Forensic experts have to date prepared 113 bodies for identification out of the 145 people killed when the TU-154 crashed.
