Paris - Russian-born Leon Poliakov, a leading historian of totalitarian regimes and anti-Semitism, and an expert at the 1945 Nuremberg trials, died yesterday in France aged 87, Jewish community leaders said.
Mr Poliakov, whose family fled Russia within two years of the 1917 Bolshevik revolution and settled in Paris, was best known for 20th-Century Totalitarianism and a five-volume History of Anti-Semitism.
